Polyphony is a podcast offered by Acaville Radio. Hosted by Aaron Director with co-host Rachael Schoenbaum, the show brings together various members of the a cappella community to offer perspectives on issues we face in today’s climate.

Aaron’s first experiences with a cappella began in the late 1980s as a singer and group director. After graduating in music education when those jobs were disappearing statewide, he detoured into other careers, keeping music as a sideline. In 2013, he started laying the groundwork for what became Acaville and went live the following year.

Rachael has been with Acaville since 2014 and hosts various shows on its airwaves. You can find her at festivals and competitions interviewing groups, near the sound booth live streaming shows, and typically smiling and singing along.
